Strawberries Show PromiseHere at EcoNugenics, we love to learn of exciting new studies that uncover the perfect union between science and nature. Modern medicine has always derived the raw materials for pharmaceutical drugs from nature, as nature provides delicate yet powerful ingredients for balance and wellness. Time and time again — be it academic researchers and scientists, or herbalists and natural healers — people discover something as common as a flower or vegetable that creates the next novel prescription for health. Researchers from Ohio State University conducted a preliminary study which revealed that strawberries may actually prevent and slow abnormal cells from growing in the esophagus. The study, which was recently presented at the American Association for Cancer Research’s annual meeting, is exciting doctors and experts.

After seeing the success in animal studies showing the cellular health benefits of strawberries, Tong Chen, the study’s lead researcher, decided to test the theory on people. The study analyzed the use of freeze-dried strawberries in 36 men and women who had abnormal cells in the esophagus. Freeze-dried strawberries were used in place of fresh because they contain higher amounts of beneficial flavonols and phytochemicals, and are about 10 times as concentrated as fresh strawberries. The results showed a decrease and a slowing in the growth of abnormal esophageal cells in 29 out of 36 participants. Dr. Chen and her team do not know the exact compound in strawberries that fights abnormal cells, but they are eager to conduct more studies.

Today, sophisticated drugs and therapies derived from natural compounds are being developed to combat serious conditions. One of the most important health problems of our time is maintaining proper cellular health as we age. Fortunately, researchers have found that nature provides a solution for this, concentrated in the peel of ordinary citrus fruits.

Strawberries Show PromiseCitrus pectin is a simple soluble fiber found in the peel of many citrus fruits. Researchers discovered that reducing the size of the pectin molecules allows the pectin to enter the bloodstream and reach targeted areas of the body for maximum cellular health protection. This revelation inspired cellular health expert Dr. Eliaz to create the most advanced form of modified citrus pectin, PectaSol-C® , which is the only modified citrus pectin clinically tested and proven to promote healthy cell growth.

Only PectaSol-C® by EcoNugenics is produced using a proprietary method that carefully controls the weight and size of the pectin molecules. The result is modified citrus pectin that is readily and effectively absorbed into the bloodstream, where it can actively promote cellular health. Extensive scientific research has demonstrated modified citrus pectin’s natural ability to support healthy cell growth and proliferation, and recent research published by Columbia University analyzed the positive effects of PectaSol-C® on cellular health.

Collaboration with nature’s perfect ingredients allows scientists to develop effective solutions for optimal health. Discover how PectaSol-C® can empower you in your journey towards health and wellness.

      Hi Tad,
I am sorry but we are not allowed to give specific medical advice, but generally speaking Modified Citrus Pectin is known to inhibit Galectin-3, which can be linked to fibrosis, inflammation, abnormal cell behavior and other things.
      Best.
