What is the secret to this being soluble? I’ve mashed it into a paste, slowly adding more liquid, tried it with a blender, adding it slowly to a blender – so far, no such luck. Probably best to try it in a capsule/pill form.
We have found that mixing the 5 gram scoop dosage with 8 oz. of warm water can help with solubility, but we recommend doing what works best for you!

I use cold water or other liquid, add it to whey protein powder and set the blender to “liquify.” No problems with solubility;totally mixed, no left over bits.

Does Pectrasol C have any side effects. I know when doing detox things like rashes, diahrhea can occur. Is there anything that can occur from taking Pectrasol?

Usually there are no side effects to the use of Pectasol Chelation Complex, but in a few rare occasions the chelation may go too fast causing symptoms like body ache, headache or tiredness. If this occurs we recommend to lower the dosage and increase it gradually as the body gets used to the chelation process.

What is the half-life of MCP? How does it compare to DMPS in terms of how long it stays in the body? What information is there in regards to the pharmakinetics of MCP chelator binding with mercury?

The pharmacokinetics or half-life of MCP have not yet been performed. It is believed based on the clinical studies to have a very short half-life and quick turn around in the body.

Pectasol-C has almost no taste at all, it is only slightly salty. But most people don’t mind it, if it becomes an issue, instead of water, it can be dissolved in non-protein-based drinks like tea, coffee or juice, whichever one she prefers.

We’ve been mixing the powder in a small amount of cranberry juice, and shaking it a bit in a small tupperware-type container. Dissolves great and tastes much better than with water.
Is there any problem with mixing Pectasol-C the night before for morning dose? Also, like to premix afternoon dose at home and take to work. Hope I’m not causing any loss of potency.

There are no known contraindications with Pectasol-C, except that it should be separated from food and other supplements by 30 minutes. Hello. Just a simple question. Is it okay to refrigerate Pectasol/MCP? I was just wondering if storing it in the fridge like I do some of my other supplements would affect it? Thanks.

Refrigeration is not necessary, it wont harm the product or make it less effective, it just may add moisture to it and make it more likely to clump and not dissolve as well or as easily. You are probably better off keeping it at room temperature.

PectaSol-C MCP does not have anything in it that would cause a bleeding problem in surgery. It may actually be a good time to make sure you are taking it, due to the disruption of cells during surgery, but this needs to be discussed, as with all dietary supplements, with your personal health care professional.

We have no evidence on elevated Ferritin levels with the use of PCC or MCP. Of note though is that in a clinical study using PectaSol MCP in healthy individual there was no change in the urinary excretion of Iron, but individual with elevated levels of Iron or Ferritin have not been looked at yet.

Does pectosol help with bowel mobility?
I’ve been taking my MCP along with MycoPhyto and Ten Mushrooms first thing in the morning, and then again in the afternoon along with some chlorella, spirulina and cilantro extract. Would this be inclined to reduce the effectiveness of the MCP, or cause other complications?
We’ve been using MCP to help with heavy metal deotxing for several years now. We like the idea of the version with added alginate, but simply can’t afford it. If we eat some seaweed (dulse, nori) at our meals, will this supply enough alginate to have a similar effect? Or is the MODIFIED alginate in your product very different from the naturally occurring alginates in sea veggies?
Can Pectasol-C and Myco phyto Complex be taken at the same time, or do they need to be ingested at different times of the day?
We recommend taking these at least 30 minutes apart from each other.

It is recommended to take 5 – 15 grams per day. For convenience purposes, you can take a scoop and a half twice daily, rather than 3 scoops daily (each scoop in the PectaSol-C jars is equivalent to 5 grams).
Have there been any studies to measure PectaSol’s effectiveness vs. DMSA in mercury detoxing? Also, has anyone used it in tandem with ALA?
No, PectaSol and DMSA have not been tested in comparison to each other. DMSA is a synthetic chelator that can cause many side effect, and strip the body of essential minerals. PectaSol is a natural product that does not pull out essential minerals, and does not have reported side effects, and works as a slower gentler process.
PectaSol can be used with Alpha Lipoic Acid [ALA] (it is in our Phase 2 Detox Complete). It is best to introduce ALA after an initial period of several weeks of PectaSol alone and in conjunction with PectaSol, so as to not cause redistribution/relocation of heavy metals in the body.
Is there a problem with mixing MCP with whey protein powder?
Does Pectasol C cross the blood-brain barrier? If so, then there might be activity for brain cellular health, I don’t see any research or data to indicate such activity.

Hi, I fell and had a serious arm dislocation and rotator cuff tear. Never had it operated on, but I still have painful aftermath if I lift something heavy. Could this product help eliminate the scar growth that is obviously present with my injury? I will also be taking natto enzyme for this. Thank you.
I want to detox from heavy metals, so would the pectasol c be better or the pectasol chelation version be better. I’m not which one I should use. PectaSol-C is a little slower and gentler, but both products do a great job of chelating. It is a personal preference, sometimes people don’t like taking capsules and opt for the PectaSol-C powder. It is not necessary to take other flushes but it is recommended to drink lots of fluids while chelating. Neither product while cause redistribution to occur.
With the product containing citrus peels, is it safe/ok to use this product with GERD?
Please check with your health care practitioner before using any products when you have a specific condition. There are in general no contraindications for the use of MCP except in cases where potassium should be limited because MCP does contain potassium.
