PectaSol-C is the only clinically proven and patented form of Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) for promoting cellular health. Thousands of patients and doctors agree that this natural and gentle solution has changed the way we approach cellular health. Ongoing research into how PectaSol-C affects the body has discovered that PectaSol-C not only supports cellular health, but also the health of many different organs and systems in the body. It does this by binding and blocking a molecule called galectin-3.
Pectasol-C is The Leading Natural Galectin-3 Inhibitor
New research on the role of galectin-3 uncovers that excessive galectin-3 can actually promote and worsen serious health problems. By inhibiting these molecules, the body is able to respond properly to inflammatory signals and other conditions directly linked to high galectin-3 levels. Pectasol-C promotes a healthy response by naturally inhibiting high active levels of galectin-3 molecules in the body.
Galectin-3 is a molecule found in small amounts in a healthy person. Doctors have learned that the amount of galectin-3 present in the body can serve as a marker –or sign– to better understand what is going on in the body. High levels of galectin-3 found in the blood are commonly seen in all kinds of people dealing with health challenges. Recent studies have shown that rising galectin-3 levels in the blood is now linked to several serious health risks that result when the body does not regulate the proper response to cellular damage. Repeated and unsuccessful attempts to respond to this damage puts undue stress and harm on the body in numerous ways. Blocking and inhibiting galectin-3 molecules has shown to support the body when confronted with cellular damage.
Research shows that galectin-3 is directly implicated in the process by which scar tissue forms and builds up in multiple parts of the body, including the kidneys, liver, and heart. By attaching to galectin-3 molecules, PectaSol-C can inhibit the dangerous scar tissue build up in tissues and organs. Determining if you have high levels of galectin-3 is an important new way of judging how your body might be at risk.
New FDA Approved Blood Test for Galectin-3
Given the consensus within the medical community on the significance of galectin-3, there is now an FDA approved galectin-3 blood test available for cardiovascular health evaluations. Check with your doctor, as it may be covered by health insurance.
Pectasol-C Modified Citrus Pectin is the only natural galectin-3 blocker, proven to bind to and block harmful elevated levels of galectin-3 molecules in the blood, and on the surface of abnormal cells. Numerous peer-reviewed studies have recently been published demonstrating Pectasol-C’s powerful ability to bind to excess galectin-3 molecules in the body and block their harmful effects.
By binding to galectin-3 molecules, Pectasol-C halts a cascade of harmful cellular triggers, debilitating scar tissue build up, and abnormal cellular growth. It is evident that Pectasol-C has enormous potential for promoting health and balance throughout the body, and we hope that you will experience the daily benefits of this truly revolutionary supplement.

What is the secret to this being soluble? I’ve mashed it into a paste, slowly adding more liquid, tried it with a blender, adding it slowly to a blender – so far, no such luck. Probably best to try it in a capsule/pill form.
Hi Kelsea,
Usually we recommend to put in the powder first then some water and wait about two minutes then stir it. Sometimes the water itself varies from place to place which could make it harder to dissolve. Many people have reported that it always works with warm water.

My wife was initially diagnosed with lupus. In doing an additional test later she came up positive for high levels of mercury in her system. A friend of ours gave us a supply of Pectasol-C to try. I am a cautious of having my wife take this as generally they say that anything that enhances the immune system persons with lupus should stay away from but I would imagine that the Pectasol would be good for heavy metal removal. She has had couple bad reactions in the past to eating oranges. Would you be able to tell me if Pectasol-C may cause any negative responses for persons with lupus?
Hi Patrick,
We haven’t had any reports of adverse reactions on people with lupus. But I would consult your doctor as to this specific case and if it would be something she could take. Generally speaking I would start in small doses and see if there are any reactions to it, and increase gradually if no negative responses show.

Does Pectrasol C have any side effects. I know when doing detox things like rashes, diahrhea can occur. Is there anything that can occur from taking Pectrasol?
My comment above is actually about Pectrasol Chelation Complex. Thanks!
Hi Dianne,
Usually there are no side effects to the use of Pectasol Chelation Complex, but in a few rare occasions the chelation may go too fast causing symptoms like body ache, headache or tiredness. This tends to happen with some people that have high levels of toxicity. When it happens we recommend to lower the dosage and increase it gradually as the body gets used to the chelation process.

I have Rhrumatoid Arthritis and have tried conventional medication, such as Embrel, Methotrexate, Humira, Orencia and now Actemra my inflammation continues, swellen knees, ankles, wrists, etc. I read an article about PectaSol-C and bought EcoNugenic but my rheumatologist does not feel it would be of any benefit. Could I take small amounts? As it is a naural product I can’t believe it would do any harm.
Thank you for your advise. Jodie
Hi Jodie,
Yes a small dose of 5 grams daily will probably not do any harm and may even be beneficial. There is research that links high levels of Galectin -3 and inflammation. Pectasol-C being a natural binder/blocker of Galectin-3 can promote a healthy level of inflammation.

I have been diagnosed with spinal Syrnix, which they believe is due to scar tissue in the spinal cord from previous surgery. My Galectin-3 test result was 23.0 w/ fibrogen (mg/dl) of 524. Of course it is unclear how much of the inflammation results from the spinal condition but do you believe I can benefit from Pecta-Sol-C?
Hi Pat,
That is a high level of galectin-3 you have there. Yes, Pectasol-C at an active dose (15 grams a day) could be of great help to you, being a natural and proven galectin-3 binder/inhibitor, it promotes healthy levels of inflammation.

What is the half-life of MCP? How does it compare to DMPS in terms of how long it stays in the body? What information is there in regards to the pharmakinetics of MCP chelator binding with mercury?
Thank You!
Ron Stover
Hi Ron,
The pharmacokinetics or half-life of MCP have not yet been performed. It is believed based on the clinical studies to have a very short half-life and quick turn around in the body.
I hope this helps.

i have a question the mcp powder taste bad ?
i know is a silly question but i have a very difficult mother that wont take anything that taste bad even if is for her own good
Hi Jackeline,
Pectasol-C has almost no taste at all, it is only slightly salty. But most people don’t mind it, if it becomes an issue, instead of water, it can be dissolved in non-protein-based drinks like tea, coffee or juice, whichever one she prefers.

We’ve been mixing the powder in a small amount of cranberry juice, and shaking it a bit in a small tupperware-type container. Dissolves great and tastes much better than with water.
Is there any problem with mixing Pectasol-C the night before for morning dose? Also, like to premix afternoon dose at home and take to work. Hope I’m not causing any loss of potency.
Hi Craig,
Yes it would still work as long as you use it within 24 hours, no potency loss is expected.

i have a fib also on warfarin. talked to the warfarin clinic which i do on every vitamin i try. they say i might have a problem with pectaSol-c. i read chelation in a pill form isnt that good. one doctor wants me to have it done with putting a neddle in my arm once a week for 6 months. i really dont want to do that. i took a test i have alot of mercury and lead in my system.
Hi Woody,
There are no known contraindications with Pectasol-C, except that it should be separated from food and other supplements by 30 minutes. There are numerous studies that prove Pectasol to be a very effective chelator including (but not limited to) of lead and mercury. Is Pectasol useful in inhibiting neo-vascularization? I have diabetic retinopathy and am interested in finding something that will halt the abnormal growth of blood vessels… angiogenesis.
Hi Elizabeth,
I am sorry but we are not allowed to give specific medical advice, but generally speaking Modified Citrus Pectin is known to inhibit Galectin-3, which can be linked to fibrosis, inflammation, abnormal cell behavior and other things.

Hello. Just a simple question. Is it okay to refrigerate Pectasol/MCP? I was just wondering if storing it in the fridge like I do some of my other supplements would affect it? Thanks.
Hi Patrick,
Refrigeration is not necessary, it wont harm the product or make it less effective, it just may add moisture to it and make it more likely to clump and not dissolve as well or as easily. You are probably better off keeping it at room temperature.

Can cancer patient take pectasol C together with pecta Chelation Complex?
I understand that pectasol chelation complex also contains MCP so why is it not better just take pectasol chelation complex for cancer patient.
Hi Wah,
While you could take Pectasol Chelation complex, Pectasol-C would provide the best support for cellular health because it is 100% MCP. Pectasol Chelation Complex is 60% MCP and 40% Modified Alginates put there to add to the detoxification and chelation effects of MCP. Pectasol-C is more powerful when it comes to cellular support.

Is PectaSol C safe to use immediately before surgery. Does it have anything in it that would cause bleeding problems in surgery?
Hi Deborah,
PectaSol-C MCP does not have anything in it that would cause a bleeding problem in surgery. It may actually be a good time to make sure you are taking it, due to the disruption of cells during surgery, but this needs to be discussed, as with all dietary supplements, with your personal health care professional.

Does Pectasol C have an acidic effect on the body?
Will Pectasol Chelation Complex or Pectasol-C help reduce elevated ferritin levels?
Hi Ellen,
We have no evidence on elevated Ferritin levels with the use of PCC or MCP. Of note though is that in a clinical study using PectaSol MCP in healthy individual there was no change in the urinary excretion of Iron, but individual with elevated levels of Iron or Ferritin have not been looked at yet.

I have been told that I have fibromyalgia. I have so much pain that I have trouble making it through some days. My mother take MPC for lung cancer and has had very promising results. I am wondering if I should consider taking MPC for my painful condition. I take a strong antibiotic for adult acne daily–perhaps I should take the detox instead. I’m desperate.
Hi jody.
Fibromyalgia is not totally understood and treatment is limited. MCP has the potential to help but we have no data on this indication. Some medications such as Gabapentin (Neurontin) is sometimes helpful in reducing fibromyalgia symptoms, please discuss with personal health care practitioner. Exercise, relaxation and stress-reduction measures also may help. The benefits of MCP for detoxification and heavy metal removal can certainly help for health promotion in general, and would be recommended over the Chelation Complex as it delivers a higher amount of MCP to the circulatory system. Other things that have potential to help besides MCP are Padma Basic and HonoPure (98% Honokiol extract).

Hello,
I have been taking Pectasol-C for 3 months. I take 6 capsules 3 times a day for arthritis and joint and muscle pain. I have 3 questions:
1) does this cause the body to become acidic?
2) how long can I take this product before I need to stop to give it a break?
3) how long of a break do I need before taking it again.
4) how long is it safe to take?
Dear Diana,
There is no evidence that PectaSol-C will cause the body to become acidic. You can take PectaSol-C as long as you like and as long as you feel that is of benefit to you — sometimes people like to stop for a week or so (every once and a while), and then resume taking it. Many people take PectaSol-C for years, so it can be taken as long as you want to.

does pectasol help in the treatment of biotoxin illness
Hi Shelley,
Biotoxin illness is associated with exposure to toxins produced by living organisms. There are many types of biotoxins. We have several health practitioners who use PectaSol to help with mold toxins, who anecdotally have reported good success in improvements to those exposed to mold neurotoxins. We do know from clinical studies that PectaSol can remove toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium without effecting essential minerals or causing side effect. Pectins and alginates in general are known to bind environmental toxins such as dioxin, herbicides such as paraquat, and radioactive compounds such as cesium and strontium.
Hope this helps.
