Warming Winter Tea

- 4 cups water
- 3 slices fresh ginger, cut 1/4-inch thick
- 1 inch piece licorice root
- 1 1/2 inches piece cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon grated orange-zest
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (or 2-3 tablespoon fresh)
- 1 clove
- Place the pieces of ginger and the licorice root in a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add all remaining ingredients.
